I was sent a detailed Warmath genealogy in 1998 by Connie Lane, descendent of the Chesterfield Warmath line. She sent it with the note, "The Rosamon info came from Barbara Morgan and the Warmath info from John Warmath (except my branch)." The information that follows comes from her tree, though I will try to back it up by looking up and adding any official records I can find. Anything in italics in the framed section represents information that was not part of Connie Lane's original tree but is supported by information after the framed section or on another page.

There is a Mathis Family Bible record on Rootsweb, submitted by Bill Witherspoon (copied by Mrs. John Ross Long the Bible in her possession which belonged to her Great Grandfather Rev. Jacob Mathis. Rev. Mathis was born 8-22-1809 in Rutherford County, TN, son of William Mathis and Lydia Carlton. WItherspoon adds, this "was published in Family Finding's Mid-West Tennessee Genealogical Society Quarterly 1974 I believe"). The Mathis Bible included the following information (note that it repeatedly refers to John Garland mistakenly as John J instead of John G. Note also that anyone looking for a lot of Mathis information should take a look at this record. Unfortunately, it's impossible to tell whose child V. Louise is):
Virginia Louise Mathis born 9-6-1909
John Garland Warmath Jr. born 7-6-1909 died
5-23-1941
John Garland Warmath was born to John J. Warmath Jr and V. Louise Mathis Warmath 1-28-1933.
Walter Mathis Warmath was born to John J. Warmath Jr and V. Louise Mathis 8-18-1936.
Georgia Victoria Warmath was born to John Garland Warmeth III (yes, it said Warmeth) and Beverly Morowitz 1-17-1962
Janna Louise Warmath was born to John Garland III and Beverly.
Rose Hill Cemetery in Gibson County has the following adjacent stones: Warmath infant, 1912; John G. Warmath 3-24-1872 to 10-2-1933; Georgia F. Warmath 11-17-1873 to 9-19-1950; J. Garland Warmath Jr. 6-6-1909 to 5-23-1941; William Walter Warmath 8-20-1913 to 9-5-1983; Frances S. Warmath 4-1-1909 to 5-11-1983
