I was sent a detailed Warmath genealogy in 1998 by Connie Lane, descendent of the Chesterfield Warmath line. She sent it with the note, "The Rosamon info came from Barbara Morgan and the Warmath info from John Warmath (except my branch)." The information that follows comes from her tree, though I will try to back it up by looking up and adding any official records I can find. Anything in italics in the framed section was not part of Connie Lane's original information but is supported by information beneath the framed section (or on another person's page).

1880 census, Madison County District 16: John W. Warmath, age 46. Wife Mattie, age 34. Son Thomas, age 13. Son Julius, age 11. Son Albert S, age 9. Son John G, age 7. Son James C, age 4. Son Walter W, age 1. Also in the house, nephew Henry, age 19.  Same page: Robert Warmath, age 32; wife America, age 32. Son Julius C. age 12; son Jessie, age 10. Son Robert W., age 9. Son John L, age 6. Daughter Mattie E, age 4. Son Jimmie P, age 1. Also in the household niece Cora P. Warmath age 17 and nephew Benjamin Waramth age 22, and Elizabeth Warmath, age 77, mother. (Note: Henry, Cora & Benjamin appear to be the children of Henry H. Warmath, brother of John W & Robert, who died in 1862 and his wife in 1864)

1900 census, Gibson County TN, District 2: John Warmath, age 66, born Feb. 1834, married 35 years. Wife "Dell" age 55, born June 1844, mother of 7, all 7 alive. Son Johnnie, age 28, born Mar 1872. Son Clint, age 24, born Mar 1876. Son Aubrey, age 16, born July 1883. Also in the household, Kate McGee, 15, white boarder born Apr 1885 and Wilse William, age 55, black boarder born Jan 1845 occupation: farm labor.

Gibson County marriage records show Clint Warmath marrying Jessie Dilliha in 1904.

1918 draft registration: James Clinton Warmath, age 42 of Humboldt, TN, Gibson Co, born 3-18-1876. Medium height, stout, with blue eyes and brown hair. Farmer employed by "land owner" in Humboldt. Kin is Mrs. Jessie Warmath of Humboldt
