[home] [Avery index] [Hardison index] [Hefley index] [Rosamon index] [Warmath index] [surname index]
I was sent a detailed Warmath genealogy in 1998 by Connie Lane, descendent of the Chesterfield Warmath line. She sent it with the note, "The Rosamon info came from Barbara Morgan and the Warmath info from John Warmath (except my branch)." The information that follows comes from her tree, though I will try to back it up by looking up and adding any official records I can find.

Information beyond this point not part of Connie Lane's original tree:
Gibson County Illustrated 1901 lists "a few of the leading fruit growers" who ship from Medina, including Tom Warmath and John Warmath. Their brother, J.W. Warmath is listed in the directory of the Bank of Humboldt and as a deacon of the Humboldt Methodist Church, and Mrs. J.W. Warmath is listed as a church member who died within the previous five years (note that within the same publication, the name is spelled both WarmAth and WarmOth). It also names among the town businesses liverymen "Clark & Warmoth."
1917 draft registration for John's son: Willie D. Warmath, born 5-22-1890, of Halls, TN, born in Medina. Farming, employed by J.F. Brooks. None to support, single. Tall, slender, blue eyed with dark hair.
