In his father's will (written in 1915, probated in 1917) William Irby is named one of the sons to execute the will if their mother is dead.

Humboldt Courier Chronicle, 11-19-1920: "Items of interest from Gadsden: Mr & Mrs Irby Rosamon and son William, of Memphis, spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. J.W. Rosamon."
1930 census, Shelby County TN, Memphis:
Wm. I. Rosamond, age 49, married at 26, occupation: salesman in wholesale grocery industry
Wife "Lena M" age 47, married at 21, born in ARK, and this time both parents also born in Arkansas
Son Wm. I. Jr, age 16.
Note that William Irby's brother James Rochelle Rosamon was also a traveling salesman in the grocery industry.
