(home) (Hefley index) (surname index)
NOTE: I have a big problem with this info. Sources on internet put this husband and these children with Ruth Hannah Letsinger, and the woman born at the right date, with those children, lives next door to John Letsinger (Ruth's brother) in 1870. HOWEVER the woman who tracks forward through the census with John Collins of the same occupation and birth, with the same children, is shown in 1850 in Hempstead Arkansas, but Ruth Hannah Letsinger is shown still living with her parents in the 1850 census. Could be a census error, or John Collins has two wives with similar data, but I take this with a grain of salt.
Ruth Hannah Letsinger (Collins?) born 9-20-1824 SC Exact date taken from unsourced internet family trees, not verified. Same sources give date of death as 2-23-1875 in Benton, MO Note that her sister Sarah is supposed to have married a Collins as well
