Dear Dolores, Les + family:

It's been so long since I heard from you I'm commencing to feel real worried that something must be wrong. Is everyone alright no one sick or anything or are you so busy (which I'm sure you are) but really honey just write a few lines to relieve a very worried mind.

I've been so busy with the youngsters here and everything or I would have written sooner. Murf left the day the kiddies arrived, went to visit some friends of hers in the Pacific Palisades. Now she is back in Crystal Lake again but said she would be back when Louise comes out. We are expecting Geralda here this evening about 7 o'clock, she is going to stay until the 9th + then she is leaving to visit her niece in Wanatchee Washington. Will write you a real long newsy letter after she leaves.

We are expecting Hilda + Emmet + Henrietta + George here in Sept and that means after Geralda leaves I will really have to step on it + do some real house cleaning. We have been going so much with the kiddies + Aunt Mae + Madeline here that we really neglected the house and that reminds me I better get busy right now as we have to pick Gerry up at seven + I have a million things to do yet, shopping + all so hoping everything is alright, you, Les + the family all well--no one hurt or anything. I'll say toodle oo for now with love + kisses from all to all, I am

your ever loving + devoted

Mom
